The weather was still quite good for the time of year nice and bright but very windy. Becky and Johnpaul booked me to cover their wedding about 15 months before the big day at one the wedding fairs I was also known to them from previous weddings that I had undertaken. I meet them a couple of times at the open evenings and got to know them quite well before their wedding. I travelled to Hardwick Hall on the morning and let Becky know that we were there; I then went to meet Johnpaul who was running a bit late because he had too dress the page boy and was in a bit of a flap.
The groomsmen were there ready and patiently waited while I fitted all the button holes which were lovely carnations you don’t see them very often now, it was a lovely change. Becky had stayed the night before with her bridesmaids, which I think really works well as everyone is in one place and tends to be less stressful. I were going in between both parties to cover the day then I went and waited with Johnpaul and the wedding party for the grand entrance of Becky, I'm pleased she walked down the aisle a bit slower then the flower girl who ran more like an aeroplane with her little flower basket at 90 degrees not a petal insight.
Becky and Johnpaul had the Coleman suite three for the ceremony and Coleman one for their reception. Everything was very relaxed and we had a great day with them and their family’s, I returned on the night with a signature mount with an A4 photograph from one of their photos from their day, Becky and Johnpaul had a lovely day and it was a great pleasure to be a part of it, Becky has already left me a great review on my grange photography Facebook page.
